The short version
- Nothing we publish is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Except where the law says otherwise, we owe you no fiduciary duty.
- Nothing we publish is an offer to buy or sell securities, derivatives, Digital Assets or financial services. In the UK, it is not meant as an invitation or inducement to invest, and no FCA-authorised person has approved it.
- The Services are not offered to US Persons, to anyone in the US or another Restricted Jurisdiction, or to Restricted Persons.
- Vanna is not a bank. Supplying assets is not a deposit, and no deposit protection scheme covers it.
- Rates, simulations, health-factor projections and Testnet results are estimates or test data, not promises and not a guide to mainnet.
- Our website and materials can describe features still under development that are not yet on Testnet. "Planned" and "in development" describe what we intend, not what we promise.
- A logo on our site does not mean its owner endorses or partners with us, unless we say so.
- Copilot is an AI system, not a person, and it is not available in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. Its answers, and those of outside AI assistants, can be wrong.
- Read our Risk Disclosures and Terms of Use first.
This page covers what Vanna publishes: the Interface, our documentation at docs.vanna.finance, our guides and research, Copilot, our emails and our official social channels ("our content"). Read it with our Terms of Use, Testnet & Rewards Terms and Risk Disclosures. If this page and the Terms of Use conflict, the Terms of Use apply. "Vanna", "we" and "us" mean One World Technology LLC (see our Legal Notice).
1. No advice and no fiduciary duty
- Our content is general information. It does not consider your goals, finances, experience or needs, and it is not investment, financial, trading, legal, tax or accounting advice.
- Nothing we publish recommends that you buy, sell, hold, lend or borrow any Digital Asset, use leverage, follow a strategy or use a Third-Party Service.
- Using the Services does not make us your adviser, broker, agent or fiduciary. Except where the law says otherwise, we owe you no fiduciary or advisory duty. That includes Copilot's plans, strategy examples on our site, and what our team says in support or community chats.
- You make your own decisions. Before you use leverage or put real money at risk, consider independent professional advice.
2. No offer or solicitation
- Nothing we publish is an offer to sell, or a request for an offer to buy, any security, swap, futures contract or other derivative, leveraged or margined trading product, Digital Asset, financial product or financial service, in any jurisdiction.
- Vanna has no token. Points are not a token and have no monetary value. Nothing we publish is an offer of crypto-assets to the public, a crypto-asset white paper or a crypto-asset marketing communication under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
- United Kingdom. We do not intend any of our content as an invitation or inducement to engage in investment activity, including in cryptoassets. No person authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has approved it. Our Legal Notice sets out our regulatory status.
- United States. The Services are not offered to, and our content is not aimed at, people in the United States or its territories, or US Persons wherever they are.
- Restricted Jurisdictions. The same applies to anyone in another Restricted Jurisdiction and to Restricted Persons. See Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions. Don't use a VPN or other tool to get around these limits.
- Some features may not be available where you live. For example, Copilot is not available in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. Where a feature is restricted, our content is not an offer of it there.
3. Vanna is not a bank
- We are not a bank or deposit-taker, and we hold no banking licence.
- Assets you supply to a lending pool through Earn, or post as collateral in your Account, are not deposits with us. They sit in Protocol smart contracts, or in Third-Party Services that your Account uses.
- No deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme covers them, for example the US FDIC, the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme or EU deposit guarantee and investor compensation schemes.
- Lending pool returns are not interest on a deposit. They come from what borrowers pay, change all the time and can fall to zero, and you can lose what you supply. On Testnet, all of this happens with Testnet Assets, which have no value.
4. Numbers, simulations and Testnet results
Our content shows rates, APYs and other yields, leverage and borrowing capacity, health factors and health-factor projections, liquidation levels, simulations, strategy examples, charts and Testnet results.
- These are estimates, illustrations or test data, not promises, forecasts or a guarantee of any outcome.
- Rates and yields are variable. A rate on screen reflects conditions at that moment and can change before your transaction runs.
- A health-factor projection uses the prices, oracle data and parameters of that moment. Prices move, interest accrues and parameters change, so the real result can differ. Your actual position is what the Protocol records on-chain, not what a projection showed.
- Animations, sample accounts, strategy cards, example scores and example logs show how the product is designed to work. Their numbers are made up or come from Testnet. They are not real users, trades, performance or live market data, even when they move.
- Testnet results are not an indication of mainnet results. Testnet prices, liquidity, oracles, activity and parameters differ from mainnet, and Testnet can be reset.
- Past results, simulated or real, are not a reliable guide to future results.
5. Forward-looking statements and roadmap
Some of our content looks ahead: launch timing, chains and venues, features such as Copilot, MCP access, an SDK, Agent Score and mobile apps, external audits, a bug bounty, and our goals.
- Descriptions of Vanna's features on our website and in our materials can include features still under development that are not yet available on Testnet.
- Words such as "planned", "in development", "coming next", "coming soon", "preview", "we expect" and "will" describe what we intend on the date we wrote them. They are not commitments. A feature may change, arrive late or never launch.
- These plans depend on things we don't control, including technology, security findings, Third-Party Services, markets and laws. Outcomes can differ a lot, and unless the law requires it, we don't have to update them.
- Don't rely on a planned feature when deciding whether to use the Services.
6. Third-party services, content, links and logos
The Services work with Third-Party Services we don't control, such as venues, vaults, bridges, wallets, oracles, RPC providers and sign-in providers. Our content also links to, quotes or shows third-party websites, data and brands.
- No endorsement. A link, quote, data source, integration or mention does not mean we endorse a third party, or that it endorses us.
- Logos. Our site shows logos of chains, venues, wallets, tools and programmes we build with or have been supported by, for example through a grant or accelerator. Unless we clearly say there is a partnership, a logo does not mean its owner is our partner, sponsor, investor, auditor or customer, has reviewed Vanna or is responsible for it. Nor does it mean an integration is live on Testnet. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify them.
- Comparisons and data. Comparisons with other protocols rely on public information at the time of writing and may be simplified. Prices and market data from oracles, venues and data providers can be delayed, wrong or missing.
- Their terms apply. A Third-Party Service's own terms, privacy policy and risks apply when you use it. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for its content, availability or conduct.
7. AI systems and AI-generated content
Copilot. When you use Copilot, you are interacting with an AI system, not a person. We tell you this when you first use it, and we label its outputs as AI-generated. Its answers are generated by a third-party AI model (currently Google Gemini), and it proposes plans based on what you ask. Copilot is not available in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland (see Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions).
- Its answers and plans can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they sound confident.
- A Copilot plan is a proposal, not advice. Check every plan, amount and setting before you approve it, and before you allow Copilot to act within any limits you set. By default you approve each transaction; a delegated signing permission, if you grant one, works only within your limits.
- Guardrails, such as the live health-floor check, reduce some risks. They do not stop every loss, and in fast markets they may not prevent liquidation.
"Ask AI". Some pages have "Ask AI" links. They open an outside assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok or Google AI Mode) in a new tab, with a question about Vanna filled in that points to our published sources.
- These assistants are Third-Party Services. We don't control them, and we don't see or review their answers.
- Their answers are not statements by Vanna. They can be wrong or out of date, or confuse Vanna with unrelated projects such as Vanna.AI or Vana.
- Their own terms and privacy policies apply. What you type goes to that provider, not to us.
- For anything that matters, check our docs and this site.
Your own agents. If you let an AI agent act for you, for example through our MCP access where it is open to you, set its limits with care. To the extent the law allows, what it does with the access you give it is treated as done by you.
AI in our own content. We use AI tools to help make some of our content, such as text, images and voice narration. A person on our team reviews it before we publish it, and we take editorial responsibility for it. Where AI has been used to make or change an image, video or audio clip so that it shows or sounds like a real person, place or event and could be taken as real, we label it as AI-generated in or next to the content.
8. Educational content and research
Our guides, research, glossary and FAQ are general education.
- Explaining a strategy, such as delta-neutral trading or funding-rate arbitrage, is not recommending it. These strategies can lose money through leverage, funding changes, depegs, auto-deleveraging and liquidation.
- Examples use simple, made-up numbers and may leave out fees, slippage, interest, taxes and timing.
- Where we describe how Vanna works, we describe the design and Testnet settings on the date shown. They may change.
- Research relies on third-party data. We cite our sources, but we can't check every figure. Older pages can go out of date.
9. Our team and community
Posts, videos, podcasts and trading content that our founders, team members, contributors, ambassadors or moderators publish on their own accounts are their own views, not statements by Vanna, unless they say they speak for Vanna. Community members don't speak for us. Our official channels are listed in our Brand & Trademark Guidelines.
10. Translations
We write in English. If we offer a translation, or your browser translates a page, and it differs from the English version, the English version applies unless the law where you live says otherwise. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for translations made by tools we don't control.
11. Accuracy, changes and your rights
- We work to keep our content accurate, but we don't promise that it is complete, current or always available. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty about it. Our Terms of Use set out the warranties and limits of liability for the Services.
- We may change or remove any content, including this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
- Nothing on this page limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws where you live.
