Brand & Trademark Guidelines

Last updated: 28 October 2026

The short version

  • "Vanna", "Vanna Protocol", our logo and our mascot tell people who we are. Don't use them in a way that suggests you are us, or that we back you.
  • You can name us, link to us, write about us, and say your product "works with Vanna" if it really does. Use the logo files from our press kit exactly as provided.
  • Don't put our marks in a token name, ticker, domain, social handle or app name. Don't change the logo. Ask before putting our marks on merchandise.
  • Vanna has no token and runs no presale or airdrop. Any token, presale or airdrop offered in our name is not from us.
  • Report misuse or impersonation to hello@vanna.finance.

1. Our marks

These guidelines cover:

  • Vanna and Vanna Protocol, our names.
  • The logo: the V mark (a V drawn as one folded ribbon in the brand gradient), the "vanna" wordmark (custom lettering, not a typeface), and the horizontal and vertical versions.
  • The mascot: the Vanna chameleon character and its artwork.
  • Product and feature names that carry the Vanna name.

Together these are "our marks". They are owned by or licensed to One World Technology LLC ("Vanna", "we", "us", "our"). See the Legal Notice.

These guidelines concern our name and logo as used for our products and services. They don't stop anyone using the word "vanna" in its ordinary or technical sense, such as the options Greek. Vanna Protocol (vanna.finance) is not related to Vanna.AI or to Vana and its VANA token.

2. Trademark status

As of the date above, our marks are not registered as trademarks.

We rely on the rights that come from using the marks, on copyright in our logo and artwork, and on laws against passing off and unfair competition where they apply. We may apply to register the marks later. Until a registration is granted, we may use the ™ sign with our marks, but not ®. Please don't use ® with them either: it tells people a registration exists, and in some countries that is an offence. You don't need any symbol when you simply refer to us in text.

3. What you may do

You don't need permission for the following, as long as you stay inside section 4.

  • Refer to us factually. Use "Vanna" or "Vanna Protocol" in text to name us in articles, research, tutorials, videos, podcasts, reviews, comparisons and criticism.
  • Report and teach. Use our name and the press kit logo in news or educational material, if what you say is accurate and not misleading.
  • Say "works with Vanna" for a real integration. If your product genuinely integrates with Vanna, say so in plain words and say whether it is on Testnet. Keep it true and current. If you show our logo, make it no more prominent than your own name and logo or the other integrations you list, and never use it as part of your own branding.
  • Use the press kit as provided. Download from /press/ and use the files unchanged, in the version made for your background (section 5).

4. What you may not do

These are never allowed:

  • Impersonate us. Don't run websites, apps, interfaces, wallets, bots, support accounts, ads or messages that copy our look or claim to be Vanna. Don't run airdrops, token sales or "claim" pages in our name. This is a scam risk for users, and we treat it seriously.
  • Use our marks to mislead. Don't use our name or logo to claim that Points or Testnet Assets have value or will turn into a token or airdrop, to promise returns from using Vanna, or to promote Vanna to people in a Restricted Jurisdiction (see Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions).

Unless we agree in writing, you also may not:

  • Imply endorsement or partnership. Don't suggest that we sponsor, approve or are partnered with you or your product, or that you are an "official", "authorised" or "verified" Vanna anything. Unless we say so on our official channels, we have not approved anyone else's promotion of Vanna, so don't say that we did, and don't present your own promotion as coming from us.
  • Put our marks in names. Don't use "Vanna", "Vanna Protocol" or anything confusingly similar in:
  • a token, coin or NFT name, ticker or symbol;
  • a domain name or subdomain (for example vanna-airdrop.xyz);
  • a social handle, channel, group or bot name (for example @vanna_support);
  • the name of an app, extension, wallet, company or project, or of a smart contract or code package that people could mistake for ours.

Plain descriptive names for your own integration code, such as VannaAdapter, are fine. - Change the logo. Don't alter, recolour, animate, redraw or crop it, merge it with other logos or text into a new lockup, or make a new logo that looks like ours. Showing it next to other logos, with its clear space, is fine. - Put our marks on merchandise. This covers clothing, stickers, printed goods and digital collectibles, sold or given away. - Use our marks as the identity of a fork or copy. A licence to use our code does not give you rights in our marks unless it says so. You may say truthfully that your project is based on Vanna Protocol code, but give it its own name and logo.

To ask permission, email hello@vanna.finance with "Brand" in the subject line.

5. Logo basics

Get logo files only from the press kit, which also has the guidelines PDF and the brand colours. If the press kit and this page differ, this page applies. The essentials:

  • Pick the version by background. Full colour on white and light backgrounds. Full colour reversed on dark backgrounds (#111111). Black for one-colour print.
  • White logo: only on the brand gradient, matching the mark exactly: 120 degrees, #FC5457 (Imperial Red) to #703AE6 (Violet). Don't put it on photos or busy images, solid Violet, any other flat colour, or a different gradient. This applies to every white version, including the wordmark. On dark backgrounds, use the full colour reversed version.
  • Full colour logo: never on the brand gradient. The mark gets lost. Use the white version.
  • Clear space: half the height of the mark on every side, with nothing else inside it.
  • Minimum size: horizontal logo 96 px wide on screen (25 mm in print); logomark 16 px (5 mm). The press kit lists the other versions.
  • Don't stretch, squash, rotate or tilt the logo, recolour the gradient, add shadows or effects, retype the name in a font, or use the old Vanna mark, which is retired.

If no version suits your background, email hello@vanna.finance with "Brand" in the subject line before you publish.

The mascot is not in the press kit. Ask before using it, except to show it in news coverage or commentary, such as a screenshot of our product or posts.

6. Official channels and impersonation

Our official channels are vanna.finance and its subdomains (such as the Testnet app at test.vanna.finance), docs.vanna.finance, github.com/vannafinance, X @vannaprotocol and Telegram t.me/vannaprotocol. Emails from our team come from an @vanna.finance address. Treat anything else as unofficial until we say otherwise there.

  • Vanna has no token, and Points are not a token. Testnet Assets have no value. See the Testnet & Rewards Terms and Risk Disclosures. Any "VANNA" token, presale, airdrop or claim page is not from us.
  • We do not ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase or private key. No one helping you with Vanna needs them.
  • Check the address in your browser before connecting a wallet or approving a transaction. Be careful with direct messages, links in replies, and accounts with names close to ours.

7. Reporting misuse and impersonation

Email hello@vanna.finance with "Brand" in the subject line. Include a link, handle or screenshot, where and when you saw it, and anything you did in response (for example, connecting a wallet). If you think funds are at risk, also report it to the platform, host, registrar or wallet provider. For weaknesses in our own systems, use Security & Responsible Disclosure instead. We handle any personal data in your report as our Privacy Policy describes.

For honest mistakes we usually start by asking the person to fix the problem. Where users may be at risk, we may act without notice, including by reporting to platforms, hosts and registrars, requesting removal, and taking any other step the law allows. If we don't act on a misuse straight away, we can still act later.

8. Permission, your rights and changes

Where these guidelines give permission, it is free of charge, limited, non-exclusive, revocable and not transferable. It gives you no rights in anything else, such as our code or content. We may withdraw it for a particular use, for example if that use is misleading, causes confusion or puts users at risk.

These guidelines don't limit uses the law allows without permission, such as fair and honest reference, criticism, review and comparison, and they don't affect mandatory consumer rights where you live.

We may update them. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version, and we will announce material changes on the Legal Hub or our official channels. If a change affects a use that was allowed before, we will give you reasonable time to adjust where that is practical.
