3. Regulatory status
- Vanna is software: composable credit infrastructure for DeFi. With a Vanna account, you can borrow credit that can exceed your deposit, secured by everything held in that account. We develop the Protocol and operate the Interface. The Protocol runs on Testnet only, on Solana and Stellar, with Testnet Assets that have no value. Vanna has not launched on mainnet.
- We are not licensed or registered as a bank, credit institution, broker, dealer, investment firm, investment adviser, exchange, payment or e-money institution, or money transmitter. We do not hold your private keys.
- We hold no licence, authorisation or registration from a financial regulator in the EU, the UK or the US. In particular, we are not authorised under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), we are not authorised or registered by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, and we are not registered with the US SEC, CFTC or FinCEN.
- St. Vincent and the Grenadines: the Interface provides software access to a testnet that uses test assets of no value.
- We do not serve US Persons. Nothing we publish is an offer of financial services. See our Disclaimers and Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions.
4. Hosting
- The website vanna.finance is hosted on Google's Firebase Hosting. The waitlist backend and the Testnet web apps run on Google Cloud.
- Our documentation at docs.vanna.finance is hosted by Mintlify.

7. Complaints and dispute resolution
- Please contact hello@vanna.finance first. Our Terms of Use set out the governing law and how disputes are resolved.
- The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, which repealed the ODR Regulation. Businesses no longer have to link to it, so we don't.
- We are not required to take part, and do not currently take part, in proceedings before a consumer alternative dispute resolution body. This does not affect your right to go to court or to contact a consumer authority where you live.
