These terms cover the Vanna waitlist, the Testnet, and the Points, quests, referrals and leaderboard that come with them. They add to our Terms of Use, which also apply to you. If the two conflict on a matter about the waitlist, the Testnet or Points, these terms win on that matter. Capitalised words, such as "Account", "Testnet Assets", "US Person" and "Restricted Person", have the meanings given in the Terms of Use. Our Risk Disclosures explain the risks, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. These terms replace our earlier Waitlist Terms.
The short version
- You must be 18 or older and not a US Person or other Restricted Person.
- The waitlist gives you a spot and an invite link. One person, one spot. We open access in waves.
- The Testnet is experimental and uses Testnet Assets only. They have no value, and balances can be reset at any time.
- Points record how you take part. They have no monetary value, are not a token, and cannot be transferred or sold.
- Vanna has no token. Points do not convert into any token, airdrop, payment or other benefit.
- The Points formula is not published and can change. Points can be adjusted, reset by season, or removed for abuse. You can appeal.
- Some features are off in some countries. In the UK, referral rewards, Perps, Predict and Copilot are off (see section 4).
- No self-referrals, duplicate profiles, bots or farming.
- The leaderboard shows a shortened wallet address. Your X handle appears only if you turn it on, and you can hide yourself.
- Report security issues privately through our Security page.
1. About these terms
One World Technology LLC ("Vanna", "we", "us") runs the waitlist, the Testnet and the rewards programme. You accept these terms when you join the waitlist, connect a wallet to the Testnet or use the Rewards features. If you do not accept them, do not take part.
Some features have extra rules that we show you when you join them, such as a season, a quest or a tester programme. If those rules conflict with these terms, the extra rules win for that feature only.
2. Who can take part
You can join the waitlist, use the Testnet or earn Points only if:
- you are eligible to use the Services under the Terms of Use;
- you are at least 18, and old enough to make a binding agreement where you live;
- you are not a US Person or any other Restricted Person, which includes anyone located or resident in a Restricted Jurisdiction (see Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions);
- taking part is lawful where you are; and
- you take part for yourself, not for someone else.
Do not use a VPN, proxy or any other tool to hide where you are or to get around these limits. We may ask you to confirm that you are eligible. Some features and parts of the rewards programme are not available in some countries (see sections 4 and 7). If you stop being eligible, stop taking part. Points held by someone who was not eligible may be voided.
3. The waitlist
How you join. You sign in with your email address and a one-time code from our sign-in provider, Dynamic. You then connect your X account through X's own login. We use your basic X profile (handle, name, picture and account ID) to check that you are a real person. Connecting X is only that check: it earns no Points or other reward. We do not post to X for you.
Optional steps. Following Vanna on X, joining our Telegram and connecting a wallet (we only need its public address) are optional. They do not change your spot, earn Points or count toward any reward.
Your spot and invite link. You get a spot number, which shows roughly where you are in line, and an invite link with a counter of friends who joined through it. A friend counts once they join through your link, confirm their email and pass the X check that they are a real person. Each friend who counts may move you up. We set how many places a friend is worth and the most you can move up, and we may change these for the future. Your spot can also move when others move up or when we remove fake sign-ups.
One person, one spot. Use your own email address and X account. One person can hold one spot, however many email addresses, X accounts or wallets they have.
Access in waves. We decide who gets into the Testnet and when. Besides your spot, we may consider local rules, fair-play checks and the mix of testers we need, and we may invite partners and community members outside the order of the list. Joining does not promise you access or a date.
Invite codes. Once you are in, we may give you single-use invite codes that let a friend skip the line. You may share them for free. You may not sell or trade them.
Leaving. You can leave at any time by emailing hello@vanna.finance from the address you signed up with. Leaving removes your spot and your waitlist Points.
4. Using the Testnet
What it is. The Testnet is a test deployment of the Protocol on the Solana and Stellar test networks, reached through our web app. It lets you try an Account with Testnet Assets: post collateral, borrow, and use the credit in Earn, Margin, Spot, Perps, Farm and Predict. Perps are available on the Solana Testnet and, on Stellar, only where the app shows them. It exists so we can find and fix problems before real money is involved. Vanna has not launched on mainnet.
Testnet Assets have no value. You get Testnet Assets from faucets in the app or from the test networks. We set faucet limits, for example per person or per period, and may change them or close a faucet at any time. You cannot sell, exchange or redeem Testnet Assets for money or any other Digital Asset, and they do not carry over to mainnet. Test versions of stablecoins, such as test USDC, are not backed and cannot be redeemed with any issuer. Anyone offering to buy or sell Testnet Assets is not us.
Never send real assets to the Testnet. If you send real Digital Assets to a Testnet address or contract, they may be lost, and we may not be able to recover them.
Resets. We may reset balances, positions, Accounts and history, or redeploy the Testnet contracts, at any time and sometimes without notice. The Solana and Stellar test networks are run by others and may reset too. A reset of balances does not by itself reset your Points; season rules may (see section 5).
Bugs are expected. The Testnet may be slow, unavailable, inaccurate or broken, and we do not promise any uptime. Features, assets, venues and risk settings may change at any time and may differ from mainnet. Prices, rates and yields on the Testnet are test conditions and say nothing about mainnet. Testnet Accounts can be liquidated: under the current settings, an Account with debt can be liquidated at or below a health factor of 1.10 (see our Risk Disclosures).
Gated features and Third-Party Services. We decide who gets access to gated features, such as Copilot and MCP access for AI agents. Venues, vaults, bridges, wallets and test networks used on the Testnet are Third-Party Services, and their own terms apply.
Copilot is an AI system. Copilot runs on Google's Gemini models. We tell you this when you first use it, and we label its outputs as AI-generated. Copilot is not available in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. It can be wrong, and you are responsible for every action you approve or allow it to take. By default you approve each transaction in your wallet; you can also let Copilot sign through a delegated permission, such as a session key, within limits you set. Do not put personal data in your prompts.
Features that are off in some places. We switch some features off based on your IP location, and we may use other technical measures:
- UK: Perps, Predict, Copilot and referral rewards (section 7) are off.
- EEA and Switzerland: Copilot is off.
- Canada: Ontario is a Restricted Jurisdiction, so the Testnet is not available there. In the rest of Canada, Predict is off.
The full and current list is on Restricted Jurisdictions & Sanctions. If that page and this list differ, that page applies.
5. Points
What Points are. Points are a record we keep of how you take part in the waitlist and the Testnet. They:
- have no monetary value and are not your property;
- are not money, electronic money, a voucher, a token, a security, a financial instrument or any other investment, and are not issued on any blockchain; and
- cannot be transferred, sold, bought, lent, pledged, combined with another person's Points, or exchanged for money, Digital Assets or anything else.
Points are not interest, yield or a return on anything you deposit. On the Testnet, nothing of value is deposited.
How you earn Points. In general, Points reflect:
- joining the waitlist;
- real, continued use of the Testnet across its modules;
- completing quests (see section 8); and
- referrals, where available (see section 7).
What does not earn Points. Activity with no real testing purpose, such as wash trading, self-referrals, duplicate profiles, or positions opened and closed only to create activity (see section 10). Nothing you do on X or any other social platform, such as following, connecting, posting or engaging, earns Points or any other reward.
The formula is not published. We do not publish how Points are calculated, and we may change the formula, including between weeks: what earns Points, what each action is worth, referral tiers and boosts. We make changes to keep the programme fair, reward real testing, respond to abuse, reflect changes to the product, fix errors or comply with the law. We apply each change in the same way to everyone in the same situation, and a change applies from when we make it, not to Points already credited. We adjust Points already credited only to correct an error, to act on a breach of these terms or on someone not being eligible, or to apply a season change we have announced.
Weekly drops. We credit Points in a weekly drop. Any number shown between drops, such as "pending" Points, is an estimate and can change. If a number shown is wrong because of a bug or an error, the correct figure applies.
Seasons. Points are counted in seasons. The current season is the Testnet season. When a season ends, we may reset Points to zero, keep them as a record, or carry some of them over. We will announce which applies before it takes effect.
Free to take part. You do not pay anything, or deposit anything of value, to take part. We do use your personal data to run the programme, as our Privacy Policy explains. Points are not awarded by draw or chance.
6. No token, no airdrop, no value
Vanna has no token. Points are not a token, a claim to a token, or a pre-sale of anything. They do not convert into, count toward or entitle you to any token, airdrop, payment, discount or other benefit, and they have no use outside the Vanna rewards programme.
Do not spend money, or make any financial decision, because of Points or the Testnet. Nothing about the waitlist, the Testnet or Points is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or an offer, invitation or inducement to buy, sell or hold any Digital Asset or to engage in any investment activity.
If anyone, including someone claiming to speak for us, promises you a token, an airdrop or a value for Points, or asks for your seed phrase, private keys or funds to join or claim anything, it is not Vanna. Our official channels include vanna.finance, @vannaprotocol on X and t.me/vannaprotocol on Telegram.
7. Referrals and invites
Your link and code. You get a referral link and code to share. Friends who sign up with them become your referrals. Your own referrer is fixed once it is set.
Who counts. A friend counts once they confirm their email (and, for the waitlist, pass the X check that they are a real person). Friends who also make a Testnet transaction count as active, and the number of active friends sets your referral tier.
Testnet referrals earn Points only. Referral Points may include a share of your friends' activity Points, depending on your tier, and friends who join with a code may get a boost on their own Points. Neither reduces the other person's Points. If the Rewards page shows, or lets you claim, referral amounts or rebates in test USDC, they are Testnet Assets with no value, shown only to test how the feature works. They give no right to any real payment and do not mean that a paid referral programme will exist.
If you are in the UK. UK rules restrict refer-a-friend and similar incentives in promotions connected with cryptoassets. So for people in the UK, referral rewards are switched off: you earn no Points for invites or referrals, you have no referral tier, friends who use your code get no boost, and we do not show you referral amounts in test USDC. You can still invite friends, move up the waitlist through invites, and earn Points for your own testing. Perps, Predict and Copilot are also off in the UK (section 4). We work out where you are from your IP location, and we may use other technical measures.
Referral rules. You must not:
- refer yourself, including through other profiles, email addresses or X accounts you own, control or share;
- pay, or offer anything to, people to sign up with your code;
- spam your link, for example through mass DMs or comment spam, or in breach of a platform's rules or anti-spam laws;
- target people in the United States or in a Restricted Jurisdiction;
- run paid ads using the Vanna name or logo without our written permission;
- say or suggest that Points have value or will become a token or airdrop, or that Vanna offers any return; or
- pretend to be Vanna or a member of our team.
When you share your link publicly, make clear that it is your referral link and that you may earn Points if people use it.
Voiding. Referrals that break these rules do not count. We may void the Points earned from them (for the friend too, if the friend took part in the abuse), lower your tier and withdraw your invite codes.
8. Quests and the leaderboard
Quests. Quests are one-time tasks shown in the app, such as a first action in a module, linking your Account on the other chain or inviting a friend who confirms their email. No quest asks you to follow, connect, post or engage on X or any other social platform. We decide whether a quest is complete, acting reasonably and based on our records. Quests may change, end, or differ by chain or country.
What the leaderboard shows. The leaderboard is public. It ranks participants by Points and may also show season or weekly totals, such as volume or referrals. By default, your entry shows a shortened form of your wallet address (only its first and last few characters), your rank and your totals. Your X handle appears only if you turn it on; it is off until you do. The leaderboard never shows your email address. Someone may still be able to match a shortened address to the full address on a public test network.
Your choices. In the app, go to Rewards, then Profile. There you can show or hide your X handle and disconnect X. You can also turn off "Show me on the leaderboard": you then appear as "Anonymous" with a number, and your rank and Points still count. If you cannot use these settings, email hello@vanna.finance and we will hide you.
Ranks are indicative. The leaderboard may lag behind our records, and profiles under review may be hidden. Your rank is what our records show after any review, and it gives you no right to anything.
9. Feedback and bug reports
How to send feedback. Tell us in the app, in the Vanna Telegram or at hello@vanna.finance, with screenshots, the steps you took and what you expected. Never include a seed phrase, a private key or another person's personal data.
What we can do with it. You keep any rights you have in your feedback, and you give us a free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive licence to use, copy, change, publish and build on it in our products, and to let others do so as part of them. We do not have to pay you, credit you or use it, and it is not confidential unless we agree otherwise in writing. Code contributed to our public repositories is covered by that repository's licence.
Security issues. If you find a vulnerability, including one that only appears on the Testnet, do not post it in public channels and do not use it. Report it privately as explained on our Security & Responsible Disclosure page. Good-faith reports made under that page will not count against you under section 11. We do not run a bug bounty yet.
10. Testnet conduct
On top of the acceptable-use rules in the Terms of Use, you agree not to:
- farm faucets: claim beyond the limits, use many wallets or scripts to collect Testnet Assets, or pass them around to collect more;
- use more than one profile: use extra email addresses, X accounts or wallets to earn more Points, referral credit or faucet funds;
- automate without permission: use bots, scripts or other automation to join, trade, complete quests or claim. Copilot, and gated MCP or API access we provide, are allowed within their own limits;
- create fake activity: wash trade, trade with yourself, run circular trades, or coordinate with others to inflate activity, volume or referrals;
- exploit bugs: use a bug, a pricing error or an oracle problem to gain Points or Testnet Assets (report it instead);
- overload the Testnet: flood it, its RPCs or our servers with requests, or attack or disrupt it;
- trade what cannot be traded: buy, sell or rent Accounts, profiles, spots, invite codes, Points or Testnet Assets, or offer "farming" services to others; or
- get around our checks: bypass eligibility checks, geo-blocks or rate limits.
11. Reviews, voiding and appeals
We check activity to keep the programme fair, using our records, on-chain data and signals from our sign-in and anti-abuse tools, as our Privacy Policy explains.
If we reasonably believe that someone has broken these terms, we may:
- hide them from the leaderboard while we review;
- void or adjust their Points and referral credit, lower their tier or withdraw their invite codes; and
- lower their waitlist spot, remove them from the waitlist, or suspend or end their Testnet access.
We act in proportion to what happened. We may act without notice where needed to stop abuse or protect the Testnet. We will usually tell you what we did and why, unless the law or a security reason prevents it.
Appeals. If you think we got it wrong, email hello@vanna.finance with "Appeal" in the subject line within 30 days of our decision, or of when you found out about it, with the email address or wallet you used. A person on our team will review it, may ask you for more information, and will tell you the outcome. If we got it wrong, we will put it right, for example by restoring your Points, spot or access. This does not affect your legal rights.
12. Changes, pauses and the end of the Testnet
Changing the Testnet or the programme. We may add, change, pause or remove features, chains, modules, quests, tiers, seasons, faucets or the rewards programme, for example for product development, security, fairness, legal requirements or changes by Third-Party Services.
Ending the Testnet. We may end the Testnet at any time, for example at or after a mainnet launch. Testnet Assets then stop having any use. We will tell you in advance whether Points are kept as a record, carried into a later season or closed. Either way, section 6 still applies. Where we can, we will give reasonable notice in the Interface or by email, unless security or the law requires us to act quickly.
Changes to these terms. We change these terms in the same way as the Terms of Use: we update the date at the top and give you reasonable notice of important changes before they apply. If you keep taking part after a change applies, the new terms apply to you. If you do not agree, stop taking part.
No compensation. To the extent the law allows, we owe no compensation when a change, a reset or the end of the Testnet affects Testnet Assets or Points, which have no value.
13. Your data
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and your rights. Note that the leaderboard is public (section 8), and that Testnet transactions are recorded on public test networks, where anyone can see them and we cannot delete them. Do not put personal data in on-chain fields such as transaction memos.
14. Disclaimers, liability and disputes
We provide the waitlist, the Testnet and the rewards programme "as is" and "as available". The disclaimers, limits on liability, indemnity, governing law and dispute terms in the Terms of Use apply to these terms too. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
15. Contact us
For questions about these terms, appeals, leaving the waitlist or anything else, email hello@vanna.finance. For security issues, follow our Security page.
